Two Amazing Photographers Take Pictures of Chickens and Showcase Their Underrated Beauty

I love birds and have many favorites but if you asked me to name some of my favorites, chickens probably wouldn’t have made the list…until now. After viewing the stunning photographs of chickens captured by Italian photographers Moreno Monti and Matteo Tranchellini, you will never see chickens the same way again. The photographs are strikingly beautiful and made me realize that hens and roosters are probably the most underrated birds in terms of beauty.

Shot an avian exhibition in Milan, Moreno and Matteo have captured the beauty of these domesticated birds. After taking over 200 amazing photographs, they decided to create a hardcover book and funded their idea on Kickstarter. They had a modest goal of $10,000 but as of this writing, they have over $80,000 dollars in funding for their book. If you’d like to make a pledge and get your own copy, visit their Kickstarter campaign.
