He didn’t realize how overweight he became until he looked at his photo. Pat stands at 6’8″ and when he took this photo, he weighed 605 lbs. It was the fuel he needed for positive change.

First, he cleaned out his entire refrigerator and removed all the junk food that led to his weight gain.

 

His local Walmart was exactly a mile away. He decided to walk there and back before every meal or any time he felt hungry. He ate 3 meals a day and walked before each one meaning that he was walking over 6 miles a day!

 

After eating healthy and walking for a full year, he lost an astonishing 200 pounds! When he started, he had high-blood pressure, had 58% body fat, and was pre-diabetic. Now he is 275 lbs, has 10% body fat with normal blood pressure and blood glucose levels.

“On the left was me about two years at the beginning of my journey. I was 605 lbs with 52% body fat. The yellow represents overweight fatty areas and that red represents obese dangerous areas! As you can tell there is fat around my liver and all through my body with very little muscle!! I was actually too big for the machine!! The picture on the right is me today at 11.1% body fat and almost all muscle. Not only have I lost over 320 lbs and 40.9% body fat, I also put on over 50 lbs of lean mass!!!”
