When it comes to Super Bowl Halftime shows, the 2020 version with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira is one of the best in recent years. The Latina duo rocked the stage with an entire crew of dancers and special guests which made the almost 15-minute performance feel like an explosion of sound and color.
First, Shakira opens up the show with a medley of favorites such as ‘Empire, ‘She Wolf’, ‘Whenever, Wherever’, and ‘Hips Don’t Lie’. Her performance alone could have opened and closed the Halftime Show and people would have called it one of the best but then it’s J. Lo’s turn. J. Lo begins her performance at the top of a pole and makes her way down the stage to a blistering version of ‘Jenny from the Block’. She follows it up with other hits like ‘Get Right’, ‘I’m Real’, ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing’, and an unforgettable version of ‘Let’s Get Loud’ with her 11-year-old daughter, Emme.
To close it all off in spectacular fashion, J. Lo and Shakira shake their booties to another one of Shakira’s hits, ‘Waka Waka’ and it brings down the house! If you missed the Super Bowl Halftime Show or simply must see it again, check it out below!
