Marc Mero, a former WCW and WWE Wrestling Champion, had a difficult life and nearly died from drug overdoses several times. The only person that truly believed in him was his mother; however, he chose his friends and drugs instead which ultimately led him to failure.
Instead of continuing to do drugs and getting high, he decided to turn his life around. Today, he helps others with his life story and founded a nonprofit organization, Champion of Choices, Inc., to empower kids and adults to make positive choices. In this video, he explains the relationship with his mother and it brought this entire middle school class to tears.
