Bretagne Is the Last Known 9/11 Search & Rescue Dog and Today She Is Getting Her Sweet 16 Birthday Party

Bretagne 9/11 Rescue Dog Gets Treated to a 16th Bday Party in NYC.

Bretagne, a beautiful Golden Retriever, was only 2 years old when she and her owner Denise Corliss traveled from Texas to New York City to help save survivors at Ground Zero. They both worked over 12 hours a day on search and rescue missions to help people trapped in the rubble at the World Trade Center.

There were over 300 dogs helping rescuers and Bretagne is one of the last known search and rescue dogs and she was treated to a special 16th birthday party in New York City. I can’t think of a dog that deserved it more and she enjoyed every minute of it.
