This Father Kept a Secret From His Daughter for 13 Years but It Was the Best Secret Ever

When most of us graduate, we probably expect the usual gifts like cards and money; however, this father wanted to give something more meaningful. When Bryan Martin gave his daughter Brenna a classic copy of “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” by Dr. Seuss as a graduation gift, she didn’t know what to expect. He then told her to open it up. Upon viewing the first page, Brenna noticed a short paragraph written by her kindergarten teacher.

She started tearing up but was still confused. Her father then said, “Every year, for the past 13 years, since the day you started kindergarten I’ve gotten every teacher, coach, and principal to write a little something about you inside this book.”

Bryan Martin had a gift 13 years in the making to give his daughter Brenna at her high school graduation.
