Two Women Started Playing a Floor Piano and Store Customers Couldn’t Believe Their Eyes

Two Women Playing Bach's Toccata in D on a Giant Floor Piano.

One of my favorite scenes from the 1988 Tom Hanks movie ‘Big’ is when Hanks and Robert Loggia play ‘Chopsticks’ and ‘Heart & Soul’ on a floor piano in the FAO Schwarz toy store in New York City. Since then, there have been people who have tickled the ivories when walking past a floor piano but two women stole the show with their performance.

Two women began playing Bach’s ‘Toccata and Fugue in D’ and all of the customers couldn’t believe their eyes AND ears. Playing this song on a piano is no easy feat and playing it on a huge floor piano is definitely more difficult but these two talented ladies nailed it.

This must have been even more exciting to watch in person and the audience surely enjoyed it because they started clapping along. Please share this incredible big piano performance of Bach’s ‘Toccata and Fugue in D’ with your friends and family.
