Ingredients for Pineapple Upside-Down Mini Cakes:
- 2 cans (20 oz. each) DOLE® Pineapple Slices
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 2/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 9 maraschino cherries, sliced in half
- 1 package (2-layer) yellow or pineapple-flavored cake mix
Watch the video for directions and bake at 350° F. for 20 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted into the center comes out clean. For extra pineapple flavor, don’t forget to use the leftover pineapple juice when preparing your cake mix. If you don’t have enough pineapple juice, simply add enough water or milk to get the perfect measure that your cake mix asks for.
