Some parents are apprehensive about bringing babies on planes because they are afraid people might get irritated if a baby doesn’t stop crying. For an Alabama mom named Rebekka, she wanted to make the trip to surprise her husband who is a firefighter for the US Army but she was concerned about how her baby would react to being on a plane for the first time.
The moment the plane began to lift off, her baby Rylee began to get upset and started crying. Passengers around already started to give her angry looks about her crying baby and her stress began to rise so she looked for empty seats in another section to help her baby calm down. She did manage to find two and the passenger next to her made her day. Read on to find out how everything worked out perfectly.
Alabama Mom Rebecca wanted to surprise her husband by meeting him with their baby named Rylee so she booked a flight for her and her little girl.
She took an early morning flight at 5:30 AM and the plane was nearly full and everyone was quiet.
She feared her baby would start crying and when she did, she noticed passengers around her was getting annoyed. She politely asked the stewardess if she could change seats.
Even after they moved seats, her baby wouldn’t stop crying. A woman sitting next to her, Nyfesha, asked if she could hold her crying baby. Within minutes, the baby stopped crying and began looking out the plane window.
Nyfesha cared for the baby for the rest of the flight and Rylee slept quietly the rest of the way. When they got off the plane, Nyfesha continued holding the baby while Rebekka put the stroller and car seat together.
She made the trip safely and reunited with her husband. It was a journey she initially hesitated to take but is thankful for the help and kindness she received from one airplane passenger she will never forget.

It’s unfortunate that some people get irritated when a parent is trying to console a crying baby but Rebekka didn’t stop it from taking the plane to meet her husband. Just like this professor comforting a student’s crying baby during class, Nyfesha knew it was the right thing to do. Kudos to Nyfesha for her kindness and for ensuring that Rebekka and her baby had a good flight.
Please share this heartwarming act of kindness with your friends and family.
