A Boy Accidentally Ripped a Page From a Library Book and His Apology Letter Is the Cutest Thing Ever

Without libraries, many children and adults would not be able to enjoy reading timeless novels and stories for free. One Toronto boy loves reading his books in bed before falling asleep but one night, his Asterix comic book fell out of his hands as he drifted to sleep and a page accidentally ripped out.

Devastated, he wrote an adorable apology letter to the Toronto Public Library and the library staff posted it on Facebook.

The note reads:

“I am sorry that a page ripped out when it fell out of my bunk when I fell asleep reading. It won’t happen again.

I’m sorry.

From Jackson”

The staff at the Toronto Public Library thought it was the cutest letter they ever received and simply fixed the book with a little tape. They later wrote on their Facebook page, “Here’s to many more nights falling asleep with a good book, Jackson!
