A Student’s Baby Began Crying and This Professor’s Reaction Was Perfect

Many young parents juggle school and parenting and it isn’t easy but when they get support, it helps tremendously. When one young mother was without a babysitter, she brought her baby to class with her so that she could continue her studies.

During the lecture, her baby began crying in class; however, her professor, Sydney Engelberg of Jerusalem’s Hebrew University, quickly comforted the baby by picking him up and holding him in his arms for the remainder of the class.

These photographs have gone viral over the last week for many reasons. One of them being that Engelberg displays compassion and good values that should be embraced.

In a Facebook post, his daughter wrote “The way he sees the concept of getting education is not only learning the dry facts that you need to learn in class, but also learning values.”

Dr. Sydney Engelberg truly is an MVP and cares tremendously for his students and their families. Please share this incredible moment when a professor holds a baby during class with your friends and family.
