Owls need to be rescued just like any other animal because it can sometimes get lost or get injured. That was the case with Oakley the Great Horned Owl; however, he was rescued and put in the care of the Eagle Valley Raptor Center in Cheney, Kansas.
Just like this owl that befriended a sheriff, Oakley’s best friend is a plush toy and according to his caretaker, “He is always leaning against it. It gives him comfort and keeps him from stressing.” Watch as he sings and moves along to ‘Monster Mash’ with his favorite plush toy.
