Deep-frying has become a popular way to cook food. From french fries to chicken wings, many foods have been fried and enjoyed by people around the world. In fact, I’m sure you’ve heard the saying that “everything tastes better deep-fried” but that doesn’t apply to gnocchi. It’s both dangerous and hilarious when you’re thinking of making deep-fried gnocchi.
Gnocchi is a type of Italian pasta that is made from potatoes. It is usually boiled and served with sauce but Steve from the WebstaurantStore had a craving for fried gnocchi. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a bad idea. He soon discovered that they fill up with oil and begin popping like popcorn. This caused a dangerous situation, as the popping gnocchi could easily burn someone with scorching hot oil. Do you remember the scene in Ghostbusters where the eggs were popping out of the carton? Like that, hilarious.
