When the temperature soars, animals like moose that typically enjoy colder temperatures need to find a way to cool off. When Eagle River, Alaska resident Candace Helm noticed a mother moose and her two calves enjoying the refreshing spray of the lawn sprinkler, she had to find her camera.
It was particularly warm that afternoon and Helm told local news station KTUU-TV that “they just strolled around the house and looked really hot, so we turned on the sprinklers and they were happy.” It is incredibly sweet to watch this mama moose watching her calves enjoying a refreshing cooldown.
