Losing a friend or a family member is never easy. It was especially difficult for Simon Cowell who lost his 89-year-old mother before the first week of auditions for The XFactor UK. Josh Daniel, a car mechanic with an incredible voice, lost a close friend in 2013. To honor him, he dedicated the song ‘Jealous’ by Labrinth to him.
As he begins singing, his powerful voice is so beautiful that many audience members get emotional including the XFactor judges. Daniel couldn’t have chosen a better song to end the evening as it was a moving performance that they will never forget.
