A 4-year old named Lyla Hogan got an experience that most children her age don’t get.
She had the opportunity to sample a full tasting menu at The French Laundry. A world-renowned restaurant and one that Anthony Bourdain has called “the best restaurant in the world, period.” It officially won the award for the world’s best restaurant in 2003 and 2004.
Most adults would jump at a chance to have this experience but most children have simple tastes and like any little girl, one of her favorite foods is “good ice cream in a hard cone.”

“I like the white part better than the green part.”

“UH OH. It’s shrimp. It IS shrimp. Shrimp! (It’s not shrimp.)”

“These diamonds look like coffee. Next, can we have pink diamonds???”

“This one isn’t delicious.”

Lyla’s Report Card
Despite Lyla’s objection to some dishes, she loved her dinner at The French Laundry and apparently asked her mother when she can go again! If you love fine restaurants, here are other great restaurants with a view that will take your breath away.
