It’s unfortunate but some animals will abandon their newborns for reasons we will never understand. This is exactly what happened to Breeze the newborn foal. He was abandoned by his mother in Dartmoor National Park.
A farmer noticed the foal stumbling and alerted the Mare and Foal Sanctuary and they immediately took action. When they found the young foal, he was severely dehydrated; therefore, they brought him to the sanctuary to give him the care he needed. In order to give the foal some comfort, they gave him a huge teddy bear and what happened next is so adorable.
Breeze the newborn foal was found abandoned by his mother only days after being born.
After being rescued by the Mare and Foal Sanctuary, they placed a huge teddy bear in with him and Breeze quickly warmed up to him.
Breeze didn’t have a mother but he found comfort with an adorable replacement.
The two have been inseparable and the young foal’s health has improved dramatically since the rescue.
