Valentine’s Day may be a special occasion but it isn’t the only time we should express our love and show our affection towards our loved ones. Instead, we should tell our loved ones what they mean to us every day and every chance we get. Hallmark created a social project called ‘Put your heart to paper’. A project that encourage couples to go beyond the words ‘I Love You‘ and express their love in unique ways.
One video created as part of the project featured a couple who had been married for 56 years. In the video, the couple was asked to describe their feelings without using the word ‘love’ and their responses were touching and demonstrated the depth of their relationship. Only 3 days after they met, Bob knew he wanted to spend his life with his wife Kim. Kim, on the other hand, described Bob as her “knight in shining armor.”
Bob and Kim’s marriage is still going strong after 56 years and it’s wonderful. Their relationship shows that love is not just a feeling, but it’s a choice that people make every day to stand by each other through thick and thin.
