Making your dad proud is a great feeling for any kid. Keith Anderson, a father in Ontario, Canada takes incredible pride in his son’s work and wanted to save those memories forever.
Every year, he chooses artwork that his son created throughout the year and has it tattooed on his arms. The first tattoo was a daisy that his son created in kindergarten at age 4. His son is now 11 and loves the idea of his dad saving his works of art and also has taken an interest in creating the tattoos on his father’s arms.
Keith Anderson of Peterborough, Ontario wanted to preserve his son’s artwork forever.
He decided to get a tattoo every year of doodles and artwork his son created.
“No one I know has ever heard of tattooing original kid art before, and it’s a lot of fun.”
His son, Kai created this house in kindergarten at age 4.
Kai created a Canadian maple leaf when he was 7.
Keith chooses doodles that mean something special to him.
Kai drew a picture of a daisy in kindergarten and it was the first tattoo he had done.
Kai drew this seahorse when he was only 6.
“People ask me what will happen if I run out of space; I guess I’ll just get him to draw smaller pictures.”
He had this robot done from an image Kai did when he was 10.

Now 11, Kai has taken an interest in doing the tattoos himself and you can tell he loves it.
