Police officers get my respect for all the work they do and because they are so busy keeping us safe, we may think that they never take time to have fun. For me, I love to see police officers let loose and for one officer in Dover, Delaware, he was having fun singing to Taylor Swift’s megahit ‘Shake It Off’.
Police cars are equipped with dash cams. The Dover Police team responsible for reviewing the videos sometimes sees “interesting” things. They decided to post them as a series entitled ‘Dash Cam Confessionals’ and many of them are too funny! According to their Facebook page, Master Cpl. Jeff Davis is apparently the “class clown” of the department. The father of four is no stranger to Taylor Swift songs as his 10-year-old daughter is a huge fan.

Firefighters, police officers, doctors, and so many others have serious jobs. It is so great to see the human side of these people in videos like this one. They are like you and me and all they want is to come home to their families every night and have fun just like everybody else.
Released in 2014, ‘Shake It Off’ is a hit song by Taylor Swift. The song was written by Swift, Max Martin, and Shellback. It is the lead single from her fifth studio album, 1989. The song has reached number one in the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Ireland. It also became the first ever to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. As you can imagine there have been a ton of viral videos including this aerobics video and a news anchor having fun between station breaks!
