This ad is the story of a little boy named Sam and his best friend, Monty. Sam knows what his pet penguin Monty wants for Christmas and in the process realizes that life is about friendship, love, and giving. Like nearly all John Lewis Christmas advertisements, nobody speaks and the entire experience is visual with a great soundtrack that tugs at your heartstrings.
