The ocean is huge and inhabited by hundreds of species that are colossal in size. Such as giant squids that can reach sizes of 60 feet. Many weird fish species remain undiscovered as marine biologists estimate that less than 5% of the ocean has been explored. Whether the following photo of a giant crab (Crabzilla?) is a hoax or not, it is still something I would not want to see while swimming in the ocean!
The average size for a crab is about 2-3 inches; however, one particular crab’s photo has been gaining a lot of attention on the internet as it seems to be much larger than the average-sized crab. This crab, which has been nicknamed Crabzilla, apparently was spotted in an overhead photo of a small seaside town in the U.K., and many people are wondering if it is real or just a hoax.
In the photo, the crab appears as large as the pier! In addition, some sightings of large crabs have been spotted by residents in the past. If Crabzilla the giant crab was the real thing, it would one of the largest creatures in the ocean! I certainly would not want to see it in person. Nope!
Notice a large crustacean lurking in the shallow water near this pier?
Whether it is a hoax or not, it would be terrifying to view Crabzilla the giant crab in person.

At first glance, some people thought it was an oddly-shaped sand bank but after close inspection, it appeared more like an edible crab which is common in British waters but normally only grows to about 10 inches. What do you think about Crabzilla the giant crab? Let us know in the comments below!
