Using frozen blocks of ice as a canvas, Japanese photographer and artist Kenji Shibata has created incredible art using mediums that contain life. He uses a variety of flowers for color and the effect is mesmerizing.
As the ice thaws, the flower petals reveal themselves through the ice and provide a cavalcade of living colors that are rich and vibrant.
